Product Development Manager

Job Description

Lead and manage flydubai Cargo’s charter business by creating and improving freighter services, handling all charter operations, ensuring they are profitable, run smoothly, and meet high service standards, while building strong customer relationships and making flydubai Cargo a trusted choice worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all cargo charter and ad-hoc flights, ensuring they are profitable, ready to operate, and meet commercial requirements.
• Create and manage freighter cargo products that match market needs and operational capabilities.
• Build strong partnerships with charter brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies to secure repeat and high-value business.
• Work with Freighter Planning, Operations, and Engineering to confirm aircraft and route availability for charter requests and special products.
• Develop business cases and pricing for charter flights and new products in collaboration with Pricing, Finance, and Capacity teams.
• Establish product procedures and service standards that comply with IATA, GCAA, and CEIV regulations.
• Track performance of charters and products, including revenue, load factors, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to plan launches, campaigns, and promotional materials for customers and events.
• Drive improvements through digital tools, automation, and innovative product solutions.
• Ensure smooth coordination across Commercial, Operations, and Quality teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant freighter services.

Skill & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years).
• Fluent in English.
• At least 6 years of experience in airline cargo product management, charter operations, or commercial development, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Solid knowledge of freighter operations, aircraft capabilities, and cargo handling standards.
• Relevant experience and qualifications: 6–8 years.
